When I was a kid, my greatest fear was ending up in the street, penniless and without a roof over my head. I have always been driven to find a way to succeed, to meet the problems of life head on and to create a better life for my family in the process. This drive and passion for creating possibilities and solving problems is at the core of my work as a personal financial advisor.
I was born and raised in Sacramento and proudly volunteered as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the County of Sacramento for 30 years. But this was my side job. I’ve been serving the greater Sacramento area as a financial advisor for over 37 years. In that time, I have witnessed the Savings and Loan Crisis of the 1980’s, the “Black Monday” stock market crash of 1987, the Junk Bond Crash of 1989, the Dotcom Bubble of 1997-2000 and the global financial crisis of 2007 to 2008.
Taking the combined experience of these two careers, there isn’t much that I haven’t seen or heard and because of this, I keep a cool head and a conservative stance with the objective of preserving my client’s hard earned dollars. I read voraciously, study the markets, attend industry conferences, research investments and watch global, national and local news constantly, all because I want to be prepared to best address the questions and concerns of my clients.
